THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY BE INCORRECT FOR 2021. 
All new referees must complete the following five steps in order to referee matches in our region.

STEP 1: Register as a volunteer.

• Use this web site to register as a volunteer for this season.
• Note that Youth Referees need their own account on this website because that is the username and account the youth will use to login to AYSO U for online training.
  

On the Volunteer tab under your account, click on the blue  FIND VOLUNTEER ROLES  button.

Now at the bottom of Available Positions click on --  Show More --

Click on the Select button to the right of 2 Volunteer Registration - MY2019 and then click on View Volunteer Positions.

You will now see the Referee and Youth Referee volunteer positions.

• eSign your completed eAYSO volunteer application.  If you are a youth volunteer, both you and a parent will need to eSign.

STEP 2: Complete the online Safe Haven course on AYSOU (30-45 minutes).

STEP 3: Complete the online CDC Concussion course on AYSOU (30-45 minutes).

STEP 4: Complete the online Sudden Cardiac Arrest course on AYSOU (10-15 minutes). NEW 2021 Requirement.

STEP 5: Complete Regional Referee Training. 

Note that we offer this class in partnership with Burlingame, so "Burlingame" classes will include a Hillsborough instructor and students!
